Both of our cottages are on the East side of town and benefit from being outside the parking permit zone. 'Wren cottage', can be found in the YO22 4AB area and 'the Stables', at YO22 4AA, although in different postcodes, they are only a minute apart on foot. We will provide a local map with your arrival documents a few days before your booking, you might want to familiarise yourself with the parking options in advance.

 

Street parking.

Unrestricted street parking may be available nearby either on Church street, on the harbour level, or the Ropery, which is the road above the cottages, just off Green Lane. Both options are within an easy walking distance, but can get very busy on some days.

 

Pay and display.

The nearest option is on Church street, about 5 minutes walk from the cottages.

There is also a very large carpark adjacent to the Abbey, likely 10 minutes walk but quite an incline is involved.

 

Private parking.

If you're on facebook, you can book a parking space with our good friends, here. Their space is no more than 10 minutes walk from our cottages, but be warned that there is a hill to negotiate. Charges at time of publication are £6 per night, or £10 night when charging your EV.
